{"id":1051,"date":"2023-11-04T13:34:50","date_gmt":"2023-11-04T13:34:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mydailyjunk.com\/?p=1051"},"modified":"2023-11-04T14:18:26","modified_gmt":"2023-11-04T14:18:26","slug":"if-i-could-make-3-wishes-to-a-genie","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mydailyjunk.com\/index.php\/2023\/11\/04\/if-i-could-make-3-wishes-to-a-genie\/","title":{"rendered":"If I Could Make 3 Wishes To A Genie."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"mzb-heading mzb-heading-e4e432ae mzb-heading-layout-1 mzb-heading-layout-1-style-1\"><h2 id=\"why-this-thought\">Why this thought<\/h2><div class=\"sub-heading\"><p>Well I am a <strong>millennial <\/strong>(born between 1981 and 1996) and growing up I had shows like <strong>ALIF LAILA<\/strong>, <strong> ALLADIN, HATIM, and SON PARI<\/strong>, and many other shows on the same lines, shows that had fairies, mystical creatures, and Genies as that part of the cast. I always either wanted a magical pencil like that <strong>Sanju had in SHAKALAKA BOOM BOOM <\/strong>or a <strong>Genie<\/strong> who could fulfill my wishes. I&#8217;d rather settle for a Genie though as my drawing skills are subpar at best.<br>A few days back when I was laying on my bed surfing YouTube shots, I came across a video where a Genie asked a boy to make 3 wishes. This is the beginning of this though obviously my rich childhood memories also helped the cause. So here I am dumping this trash into the Dustbin.<br><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"mzb-heading mzb-heading-2b78dfe5 mzb-heading-layout-1 mzb-heading-layout-1-style-1\"><h2 id=\"the-possible-wishes\">The Possible wishes <\/h2><div class=\"sub-heading\"><p>I can picture a Genie appearing from a mystical lamp as I rub it. In his deep baritone voice asks me for three wishes to fulfill. This is one question that requires a lot of thinking, if you could ask for virtually anything. What will they be?<br>Things those cross my mind are:<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Endless Money<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Infinite Comfort<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possibly Fame<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Happiness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The first choice for anyone will be money, with money comes comfort, fame as well, and happiness well it can very well be bought in todays times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other wishes may include<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Time travel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Possible revenge (this is dark)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maybe wishing for more wishes (ROFL)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"mzb-heading mzb-heading-cbc52121 mzb-heading-layout-1 mzb-heading-layout-1-style-1\"><h2 id=\"what-would-i-wish-for\">What would I wish for<\/h2><div class=\"sub-heading\"><p>Oh I had a bowl thinking about it and one of my wishes initially was an <strong>endless OTT Subscription<\/strong> of every existing OTT app out there barring a few maybe, or maybe an <strong>infinite wardrobe<\/strong>, that was an exciting thought while it lasted. But as I narrowed the list I was left with not more than FIVE Choices and had to select 3 from them.<br><\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A few more hours in my day<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A chance to go back in time to fix a relationship<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Wiping my mind clean of a memory that changed everything for me<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Endless supply of books<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>To be able to live in the moment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The wishes I&#8217;d ask him : <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>A few more hours in my day<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Endless supply of books<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>To be able to live in the moment<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This may seems very impractical or maybe even pretentious but I have my reasons I don&#8217;t want money as I make a lot of it plus I am hoping this blog adds to that (smiles). Memories and experiences make us who we are so I am not going back in time to fix that relationship with a family member as I fear that would change me. The same reason applies for that memory I wanted to wipe off of my mind. Wiping that off may mean wiping off the learnings that came with it. (I have seen the <strong>butterfly effect<\/strong> movie movie too many times to screw with my past).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">A few more hours in my day<\/span><\/strong>: I have hectic busy days all week long I really want a few hours I could spend with <strong>Family<\/strong>, <strong>especially <\/strong>my <strong>child <\/strong>I would want to be around my child more than time permits, and a few more hours on my watch will certainly help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Endless supply of books<\/span><\/strong>: I <strong>LOVE<\/strong> Reading and at least one of the extra two hours I hypothetically wished for previously, will be accounted for by reading or listening to audiobooks at least few days a week. Books I believe have changed me a lot it gives me peace, mindfulness, and knowledge recently I have been reading the book <strong>Blogging for dummies<\/strong> <strong>(7th Edition)<\/strong> which propelled me on this journey. Reading is a bliss to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To be able to live in the moment<\/strong>: I have been prone to anxiety, stress and mood swings more so lately as I took on a lot of work, it would be nice to be able to live in the moment and enjoy life as it comes, enjoy the present moment with not even a tiny thought of the past or the future. Living and enjoying the present moment is the best thing one can do in life, I have not been able to do that, it would be nice to get a little push on this from the hypothetical Genie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"mzb-heading mzb-heading-f913e695 mzb-heading-layout-1 mzb-heading-layout-1-style-1\"><h2 id=\"conclusion\">Conclusion<\/h2><div class=\"sub-heading\"><p>It was nice to get this thought out of the way now I know what I have to do. <\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Spend a little time with my family, and express more of my love to them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And try to live mindfully in the present.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are the only things I need to do as of now to improve, and I guess I&#8217;ll be the Genie to work these wishes out for myself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wow emptying the trash does help I guess.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The first choice for anyone will be money, with money comes comfort, fame as
